Raquibul @ Md. Raquibul Khan seeks bail in Katra P.S. Case Case No. 23 of 1997 registered under section 302 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. Four persons are named in the first information report. It appears that after investigation police submitted charge sheet against the petitioner. The petitioner is absconding since the year 2001 and he has only surrendered on 26.05.2014. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The same is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within nine months from the receipt of a copy of this order. If the trial is not concluded within the stipulated period,
