JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondents to consider the case of petitioner for grant of promotion on the post of Sub- Inspector of Police (Arms) on ad-hoc basis from the date when his juniors and similarly situated persons were promoted on the post of Sub Inspector of police (Arms) and for grant of all consequential benefit."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Director

Patna High Court CWJC No.2114 of 2024(2) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 General of Police, Bihar, Patna, i.e. the Respondent No. 2, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioner approaches the Respondent No. 2, by filing appropriate representation, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be disposed off by a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
