JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 01-08-2023 Heard Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Mr. Bindhyachal Rai, learned counsel appearing for the Bank and Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Learned AC to GA-13 for the State.
2. The counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent No.3 is directed to kept on record.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs that payment along with statutory interest on different heads of retiral dues has been paid to the petitioner. He further submits that the said fact has also been stated in the
Patna High Court CWJC No.2209 of 2023 dt.01-08-2023 2/2 supplementary counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent No.3.
4. At this stage, learned counsel for the State informs that so far as the benefit of Group Insurance and provident fund is concerned, the same has already been forwarded to the concerned department and steps are being taken for making payment of the entire amount accrued on account of provident fund and G.I.C to the petitioner.
5. Considering the aforesaid information and statement contained in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent No. 3 to 6, the authority concerned is directed to ensure payment of provident fund and group insurance within 23 days.
6. In case of failure, this Court will take appropriate action against the concerned authority in light of letter dated 13.07.2023 and 19.07.2023.
7. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
