The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 290 of the Indian Penal Code and under section 47(a) of the Excise Act.

The petitioner was driver of the vehicle and he was carrying huge quantity of foreign liquor. The owner of the vehicle Manoj Yadav, who was also in the vehicle at the time of raid, has already been granted bail. The petitioner is in jail since 07.03.2015 and he has already remained in jail for about six months. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each
