JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 10-01-2022 Heard Mr. Jai Prakash Singh, learned Advocate for the petitioners and the learned APP for the State. The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 51 of 2020 dated 26.02.2020 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Regard being had to the recovery of liquor from the house of the petitioners and the petitioner no. 1 having been made accused in a case of similar nature in the past, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to them.

Accordingly the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
