2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 482 of 2022 (Trial No. 3892 of 2022) instituted under Sections 406, 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution story, the complainant alleged that her marriage was solemnized in the year 2016 and according to Muslim Law but for want of a motorcycle, she was regularly assaulted and in the year 2022 thrown out of the home which followed the case.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no such demand was made, the lady is cruel and they wanted to settle the matter.
5. Considering the aforesaid submissions, earlier the matter was sent to the Mediation Centre on 12.05.2025. The report has come and according to which, neither the petitioner nor the complainant appeared before the Mediation Centre.
6. Considering the allegation that has come against the petitioner of having thrashed the lady in an inebriated state for want of motorcycle and ultimately she was forced to leave home alongwith her minor child, in that background, it would be appropriate that he seek bail.
7. The anticipatory bail stands rejected.
