1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the certificate proceedings have been initiated, wherein, the petitioner has been noticed, although the petitioner has already resigned from the company in 2017.

2. This Court finds that the objections have not been filed by the petitioner in terms of Section 9 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914 (hereinafter referred to as Act of 1914). If the petitioner files such objections, he may raise all the objections which he has raised as grounds in the present petition. The same shall be examined by the authorities and the authority shall pass a speaking order. If aggrieved, the petitioner also has a remedy of an appeal in

Patna High Court CWJC No.2385 of 2023(2) dt.22-03-2023 2/2 terms of the Act of 1914, which he may also avail of. In the meanwhile, no perspective steps should be taken against the petitioner.

2. The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
