Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with Bakhri P.S. Case No.482 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The petitioner was found preparing liquor when the police came at the house of the petitioner. However, the petitioner managed her escape.

Considering the nature of material against the petitioner and bar of prayer for anticipatory bail under Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, I am not inclined to grant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12488 of 2021(2) dt.17-11-2021 2/2 anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail is refused.
