The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420 and 162 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is that he attempted to bribe the invigilators in the examination hall. Cash of Rs. 20,000/- was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Besides the envelop wherein Rs. 10,000/- was kept and was being offered to the deputed employee. Petitioner is in custody since 01.12.2018. Investigation of the case is already complete. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18037 of 2019(2) dt.01-05-2019 2/2 allowed regular bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Considering the facts of this case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Courtbelow where the case is pending in connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 840 of 2018/ G.R. Case No. 8384 of 2018, with following conditions:
(a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below having immovable property.
(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. (Birendra Kumar, J) Banti/Rajan U T
