2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 1097 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 21(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. Recovery is of 10 litres of codeine from the possession of the petitioner and other co-accused, Md. Sameer.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 15.12.2023 and he has clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid fact, this application

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10165 of 2024(2) dt.22-02-2024 2/2 for regular bail is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Araria in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 1097 of 2023.

8. The petitioner will visit Forbesganj Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
