2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):
"for issuance of appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/direction(s) to the Respondents authorities to make payment of fair compensation in favour of the petitioner in respect of the part of his land appertaining to Khata No.3, Plot No. 1585 situated at Mauza-Daudnagar in the district of
Patna High Court CWJC No.12486 of 2017(2) dt.22-04-2025 2/2 Aurangabad which is utilizing by the Respondent for the purpose to construct the Daudnagar Nasriganj Bridge over the Sone River without his consent and without adopting any process of acquisition. And/or for any other order/orders for granting any other relief/reliefs to which petitioner is found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

A counter-affidavit of respondent no. 8, the Senior Project Engineer, Works Division, Gaya is on record and according to paragraph-6, part of the land is 'Bakast land' which has been declared as Government land. Some part are 'Raiyati'. However, the name of the petitioner does not figure either in the raiyiti land or the Government land and as such, he is not entitled for any compensation.
4. Though the State by way of counter-affidavit proved that the petitioner has no case, since there is no appearance, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. (Rajiv Roy, J) Adnan/- U
