The petitioner is in custody in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 31 of 2018, arising out of Barauni ( Chakia O.P.) P.S. Case No. 574 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 8, 20 (b) (ii) (B) and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the instant case total 1.5 Kilogram of Ganja and cash Rs. 9,95,000/- was seized. Learned counsel for the submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 2nd December 2018.
Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6824 of 2019(2) dt.06-02-2019 2/2 antecedent, let the petitioner named above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned Additional Sessions Judge- IV, Begusarai in connection with Barauni ( Chakia O.P.) P.S. Case No. 574 of 2018, subject to the condition that petitioner is required to furnish justification of keeping Rs. 9, 95, 000/- at the time of arrest and learned Court below shall release the petitioner after satisfaction of justification furnished by the petitioner.
