1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(A) A writ of Mandamus for direction to the respondents to pay the arrears of salary for the period 16.10.2020 till 05.03.2021 to the petitioner in lieu of the medical leave taken and also in lieu of Rule 243 of the Bihar Service Code and also to return the service book of the petitioner."
2. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that as far as the outstanding salary for the period of 16.10.2020 to 05.03.2021 is concerned, almost entire amount
Patna High Court CWJC No.1954 of 2024(4) dt.22-03-2024 2/2 has been paid, except half salary for the period 16.10.2020 to 31.12.2020, which has also been sanctioned and would be paid, within a period of two weeks from today.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if it be so, the present petition be disposed off with a direction to the respondents to pay the balance amount of salary, as aforesaid, within a period of two weeks from today. It is directed accordingly.
4. The writ petition stands disposed off.
