The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.135 of 2018 registered under Sections 498A, 379 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code besides Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of torturing the informant by her husband (petitioner) and other in-laws due to non fulfillment of the dowry demand and removing the informant from her matrimonial house by snatching her personal belongings. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to rigid attitude and ill-behaviour of the informant, the petitioner filed Matrimonial Case No.422 of 2017 in the court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Bhojpur, Ara, for divorce under

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9677 of 2019(3) dt.09-05-2019 2/2 Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act and summon of the said case was received by the informant in the month of December, 2017 and, thereafter, with an ulterior motive, the informant has lodged the present case.

Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender by him within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Ara, District-Bhojpur, in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.135 of 2018, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
