2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Prohibition Act') registered in connection with Beldaur P.S. Case No. 249 of 2019.

3. At the very outset, this Court takes note that the petitioner is accused in two prior cases under the Prohibition Act and it appears that he is an habitual offender.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations, gravity of offence alleged as well as the criminal

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6097 of 2020(2) dt.02-03-2020 2/2 antecedents of the petitioner having accused in four prior cases, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.

5. If the petitioner surrenders and seeks regular bail before the learned Court below the same shall be considered on its own merit in accordance with law without being prejudiced by any observation in the present order.
