Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 649 of 2021 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 328 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 01.12.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and antecedent of one case. The prosecution case in brief is that on 15.10.2021, one Chunnu Sharma came to the house of the informant and asked to the son of informant namely, Praduman Kumar to accompany him to visit "Dusshera Mela" and thereafter son of the informant did not return to his house. Later on, dead body of the aforesaid son of the informant was found at 'Gauri ghat'

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6967 of 2022(2) dt.15-06-2022 2/2 with fire arm injuries. Further alleged that his son has been murdered in a planned manner by accused namely, Sonu Yadav, Deepak Yadav, Chandan Kumar and five unknown persons. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R., his name transpired in this case on the basis of self-confessional statement and except confessional statement, there is no specific allegation or material against the petitioner and he is the student of B.Sc. final year having a bright career.

Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 01.12.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Jehanabad in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 649 of 2021.
