The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 385 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, a demand of rangdari of Rs.20 lacs was made from phone no. 7681823039. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the F.I.R. was registered against the owner of the aforesaid mobile number. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. He has been falsely implicated in case. It is submitted that the mobile no. 7681823039 belongs to a person of the State of Odisha namely, Ashok Shah. The allegation of recovery of mobile phone from the house of the petitioner is false and concocted.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the petitioner having remained in custody for 1 year and 7 months and investigation in the case having concluded, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Yogapatti P.S. Case no. 458 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah District West Champaran.
