The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code to which section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was added subsequently.

As per allegations in the FIR, there was a fight between the parties as a result of dispute over the game of cricket. It is stated by the informant that the accused namely Bhola Yadav, Santosh Yadav, Ganga Ram Yadav, Mantosh Kumar and 5 to 6 unknown assaulted his family members as also his nephew and also took away some ornaments etc. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. His name transpired in course of investigation. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature. He is in custody since 16.10.2020 and has no criminal antecedent. Investigation in the case has concluded. Heard learned APP for the State.

No.17496 of 2021(2) dt.04-09-2021 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case including the petitioner having remained in custody for over 10 months and investigation in the case having concluded, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Beerpur P.S. Case no.61 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate VI, Begusarai.
