The petitioner in the present case is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Raghopur P.S. Case No.- 33 of 2011 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 324, 326, 307, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. He has got one criminal antecedent. As per the prosecution story, on 23.04.2011 at about 7:30 p.m., firing was done by the supporters of Jay Pal Singh, Mukhiya on the supporters of his rival Mukhiya Manikchand Rai including the informant and other people who were present near the tea shop at that time. In the said incident, three persons died, the informant and several other people were also injured. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
Considering the admitted fact that the petitioner is an absconder in the case in question, this Court would not entertain his prayer for pre-arrest bail.
This application is dismissed.
