1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is the writ petition being filed before this Hon'ble High Court on behalf of the aforesaid petitioner for issuance of a writ in the nature of "Mandamus" whereby and whereunder commanding and directing the state respondents hereinabove to grant the aforesaid petitioner the monetary benefits with consequential ones of 7th Pay Revision Commission along with arrears with due

Patna High Court CWJC No.2773 of 2024(2) dt.07-03-2024 2/2 interest thereon which he is entitled for being in the service of the Patna Municipal Corporation (hereinafter to refer to as PMC) on the post of sweeper since 07.10.2016."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna, i.e. the respondent no.2, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna, i.e. the respondent no.2, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
