JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 31-01-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kudhani (Turki O.P.) P.S. Case No. 689 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Prosecution case is of recovery of 60 litres of liquor from the petitioner and other accused persons. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody for more than three months and charge sheet has been submitted, as such there is no chance of tampering with the evidence. Heard learned APP also.

In view of above facts and circumstances, let petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5447 of 2020(2) dt.31-01-2020 2/2 Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Kudhani (Turki O.P.) P.S. Case No. 689 of 2019.
