JUSTICE RANJAN KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 22-07-2026 Earlier, this Court called for the case diary as well as the statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS. The victim, in her statement recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS, categorically stated that it was the petitioner who accompanied her and thereafter forcibly pushed her into a vehicle parked at some distance. Thereafter, she was handed over to another person. The police subsequently recovered the victim. She has further stated that she was threatened and that her video was recorded.
2. Considering the statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS, this Court finds that this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6425 of 2026(7) dt.22-07-2026 2/2 anticipatory bail is rejected.
3. However, if petitioner surrenders and seeks regular bail then his prayer for regular bail shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced by this order. (Ranjan Kumar Jha, J) veena/- U T
