Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was posted as Corrector in 1992 from the earlier post of Compositor in the respondent-Press. The Compositors subsequently have been given scales by way of progression under the ACP higher than the petitioner though the Corrector was initially getting a pay scale higher than that of Compositors. 3.

The petitioner is aggrieved by this anomalous

Patna High Court CWJC No.2403 of 2023(2) dt.12-07-2023 2/2 situation but it is apparent that he has not raised the issue before any authority and has directly rushed to this court. The issue, if the petitioner is aggrieved was required to be raised before the authorities and if they refused to exercise jurisdiction or pass an order, which was not in accordance with law, then only the petitioner should have approached this court. 4.

The same having not been done, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner would be approaching the Director (Press and Stationery) (Respondent No.3) for the relief. 5.

Writ application is disposed of with liberty as prayed for.
