2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the relief sought in this writ petition is only for a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Saran at Chapra, for deciding the dispute relating to election of Pramukh of

Patna High Court CWJC No.12261 of 2016 dt.15-11-2016 2/2 Dariyapur Block Panchayat Samiti, which has been pending before him since 02.07.2016. It is submitted that as per the guidelines issued by the State Election Commission, such dispute has to be considered and disposed off within two months from the date of filing of the complaint.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents do not dispute the aforesaid position and agree for disposal of this writ petition with a direction to dispose off the dispute.

4. Having regard to the aforesaid, this writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the District Magistrate-cumDistrict Election Officer (Panchayat), Saran at Chapra, to dispose off the dispute raised by the petitioner on 02.07.2016, by a reasoned order, positively within one month from the date of production of a copy of this order before him, after giving due opportunity of hearing to all concerned.
