JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 30-08-2022 In pursuance to the earlier order of this Court dated 25.08.2022, the respondent State has filed a second supplementary counter affidavit, wherein a letter of the State Bank of India has been annexed which shows that the arrears of family pension for the period 01.01.1997 to 31.07.2021 amounting to a sum of Rs. 24,14,724/- has been paid to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.5396 of 2021(7) dt.30-08-2022 2/2 widow petitioner on 25.08.2022. It is also submitted that as far as the balance amount of pension for the period 01.09.1993 to 31.12.1996, totalling to a sum of Rs. 1,22,178/- is concerned, the same has also been paid. It is further stated that the family pension has also been revised on the basis of 7th Pay Revision Report and from the next month, the family pension shall be paid accordingly to the petitioner, although the differential amount of revised family pension for the period 01.08.2021 to 31.07.2022 has also stood paid.

The learned counsel for the respondent- Bank has also handed over the calculation chart of the aforesaid amount paid to the petitioner, to the learned counsel for the petitioner. In such view of the matter, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the widow- petitioner has stood redressed, however, liberty be granted to the petitioner to agitate her subsisting grievance, if any, before the concerned authority. Liberty so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) rinkee/- U
