Mr. Binod Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has pointed out that various writ applications filed in different High Courts involving the same questions which are involved in the present writ application have been transferred to Supreme Court by an order dated 09.12.2020, passed in Transfer Petition (Civil) No(s). 28492859/ 2019. In such view of the matter, after some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this application with a liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law for redressal of his grievance. This application is accordingly disposed of with the liberty aforesaid. It is made clear that I have not gone into the merit of the petitioner's claim raised in the present proceeding.
