The petitioner is in custody since 03.05.2014 in connection with Khajekala P.S. Case No. 114 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25[1-b], 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that one loaded country made pistol and one cartridge were found in the possession of the petitioner and as such he was apprehended. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since more than eight months and has no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforementioned submissions and the period of custody, let the petitioner, Rajbaber Kumar @ Baban be
