The present writ application has been filed seeking direction to the Munsif, Banka for expeditious disposal of Election Petition No. 10 of 2016 filed under Section 137 of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006 challenging the election of respondent no. 3 to the post of Mukhiya of Pathadda Gram Panchayat.

3. Learned counsel for the State does not oppose.

4. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the Munsif, Banka before whom Election Petition No. 10 of 2016 is pending, to finally dispose off the case expeditiously, in accordance with law, and in any case, within four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order before him.
