JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 03-05-2019 This application has been preferred seeking modification of the order dated 20.12.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 75229/2018. While granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner this court had imposed condition whereunder the petitioner is required to join investigation by reporting to the Investigating Officer within a period of three weeks from the date of the order.

It appears that the petitioner could not join investigation for the reasons stated in the application. According to the petitioner, he had been working in Kuwait in the Company namely, Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Company and after getting leave from the Company he reached his native village on 14.01.2018, thereafter

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7142 of 2019(2) dt.03-05-2019 2/2 he filled up the bail bond which was accepted but he could not appear before the Investigating Officer within the time frame. In the interest of justice, let the time fixed to join investigation be extended. The petitioner must join investigation within three weeks from today, failing which no further application for modification will be entertained. This modification application stands disposed of.
