2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offence punishable under Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. Allegation against petitioner is that he is owner of the WhatsApp No. 9955498319 from which it is alleged that wife (deceased) of the informant was being threatened and sexually harassed for about one year as a result of which she committed suicide.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. As a matter of fact, there was matrimonial dispute between the deceased and informant and informant used to assault the deceased due to which she committed suicide and petitioner has falsely been
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6448 of 2025(3) dt.17-03-2025 2/2 implicated in this case with an ulterior motive. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.
6. Considering the fact that petitioner is owner of WhatsApp No. 9955498319 from which the deceased was being threatened, sexually coloured remarks were made and requested for sexual favours as a result of which she fell into depression and committed suicide, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
