This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Kadamkuan P.S. Case No. 429 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the IPC and Section 385, 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is the named in the confessional statement of co-accused of demanding extortion. He is accused in five more cases of similar nature. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is dismissed.

The District Judge, Patna is directed to get the trial of all the cases in which the petitioner is accused within a year.
