2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.Tr. No.107 of 2024 arising out of Sangrampur (Tetiabambar O.P.) P.S. Case No.167 of 2023 lodged under Sections 302, 201, 379, 120B/34 of the IPC read with Sections 25(1-b), 26(i) (ii), 27 and 35 of the Arms Act. Later on Section 25(1-b)a of the Arms Act has been added.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 26.06.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No.28887 of 2024.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 08.06.2023 and evidence of prosecution witness is going on. He further submits that charge has already been framed in this case.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6141 of 2025(3) dt.04-04-2025 2/2 for bail and submits that progress report has been called for. From the report, it transpires that the evidence is going on and two prosecution witness have been examined and trial court has demanded 9 months more to concluded the trial.

6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at present. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

7. However, it is hereby directed to the Superintendent of Police, Munger to do the needful and instruct the SHO and I.O. of this case to adduce evidence within 6 months from the date of production of the order as speedy trial is the constitutional vision of justice.

8. Registry is directed to communicate this order forthwith to the Superintendent of Police, Munger. Registry is further directed to hand over a copy of this order to learned A.P.P. who shall communicate this order to the Superintendent of Police, Munger at his level.
