2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"for commanding and directing the respondents particularly Respondent No.3 to hear and decide the Miscellaneous Ceiling Case No. 46/2010, filed for restoration of Land Ceiling Appeal No.

36/1988-89 within a fixed time line, and after disposal of the same, hear and decide

Patna High Court CWJC No.2364 of 2025(3) dt.13-07-2026 2/2 the main ceiling Appeal vide Ceiling Appeal No.36/1988-89, within further fixed time line, II. That, for any other relief (s) for which petitioner is found entitled on the facts of this case and also in the eye of law".

3. The petitioner has moved before this Court with a simple prayer- to direct the respondent no. 3, the Collector, Purnea to decide the Miscellaneous Case no. 46 of 2010 which has been filed for the restoration of Land Ceiling Appeal No. 36 of 1988-89.

4. Learned State counsel submits that if not disposed of, the said case will be taken its logical conclusion.

5. In that background, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondent to dispose of the Miscellaneous Case No. 46 of 2010 if it has still not been disposed of, within a period of eight weeks from the date, the copy of the order is handed over to his/her office.
