2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Pratapganj P.S. Case No. 61/2023 (G.R. No. 296/2023), lodged on 29.03.2023 under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demand and killing the daughter of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner is in custody since 30.03.2023 having no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9018 of 2024(2) dt.20-02-2024 2/2 for bail.

6. In the present facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Pratapganj P.S. Case No. 61/2023 (G.R. No. 296/2023), pending before the learned CJM, Supaul is hereby rejected.

8. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after nine months of framing of the charge.

9. With this observation, the bail application stands disposed off.
