JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 09-12-2019 The petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:- "(i) To issue writ in nature of mandamus directing the Respondents to henceforth incorporate more beds at par with the guidelines issued under the Indian Public Heath Standard (Hereinafter, IPHS) for patients at the Sub-divisional Hospital, Paliganj.

(ii) To issue writ in nature of mandamus directing the respondents to henceforth, provide emergency services & basic facilities of female toilet, safe drinking water & proper sitting/waiting area at the aforesaid Hospital.

(iii) To issue writ in nature of mandamus directing the Respondents to henceforth establish a standard blood storage

Patna High Court CWJC No.6789 of 2018(7) dt.09-12-2019 2/2 unit, ultrasound (sonography) and cold chain room at par with the guidelines issued under IPHS at the aforesaid Hospital."

The issue pertains to the construction of the SubDivisional Hospital at Paliganj in the district of Patna. From the supplementary counter affidavit dated 14.12.2019 of the respondent no. 7, we find that necessary steps have been taken in the matter. The relevant portion of paragraph 6 thereof reads as follows:- "6 That in view of the selection of land tender has been invited and 6 bidders have participated and as such it is evident that the tender for the construction of Sub Divisional Hospital is under process."

As such, we do not proceed in the matter. The writ petition stands disposed of.
