The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Chanan P.S. Case No.45 of 2015 instituted under Section 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 11.05.2015 by the informant Chowkidar 3/3 Ramakant Paswan.

As per the FIR, on 11.05.2015 informant received information that one dead body is lying on the road. He went there and saw the dead body with blood started oozing from its back side. Accordingly, the FIR.

During the investigation, the name of the petitioner has cropped up and despite the matter being of the year 2015, finally he came into the judicial custody only in November 2022.

Considering the fact that the matter is of 2015, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of one year.
