Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the land of the petitioners has been acquired for construction of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor under Special Railway Project in the District of Rohtas. The land in question of the petitioners is bearing Survey Plot No. 45, Thana No. 143, Mauza / VillageAhraon, Circle- Sasaram for total Rakaba- 0.0442 Hectare and the ancestors of the petitioners are co-sharers of the 1/3rd of the total property and petitioners have filed a representation before the Competent Authority-Cum-District Land Acquisition Officer (DLAO), Rohtas at Sasaram with regard to enhancing the compensation on the ground that the land of the petitioners belong to residential land.

Respondent No. 9 is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 24.08.2021 in accordance with law, which is still pending for consideration and pass a reasoned and speaking order after giving the opportunity of personal hearing to all concerned within a period of three months. 4.

Accordingly, with the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
