Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 195 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 08.12.2022 and there is recovery of 50 liters of country made liquor and the petitioner has 5 criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8009 of 2023(2) dt.03-05-2023 2/2 liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Patna City in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 195/2022.

The petitioner will visit Sultanganj Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
