The following reliefs have been sought for by the petitioner in the present writ application.

"1 (I) An appropriate writ (s), order(s), direction(s) commanding the respondents to issue a licence for a pistol to the petitioner in pursuance of his application made in the prescribed format made on 30.03.2016 after fulfilling all the criteria for the same.

(ii) An appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) commanding the respondents to act in accordance with law."

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had made an application on 30.03.2016 to the respondent no. 2 i.e., The District Magistrate, Begusarai, in

Patna High Court CWJC No.1725 of 2018(2) dt.31-01-2019 2/2 terms of Section 13 of 'The Arms Act, 1962' in Form-A to Schedule-III of 'The Arms Rules, 1962'. The said application dated 30.03.2016 of the petitioner is pending till date before the respondent no. 2 i.e., The District Magistrate, Begusarai. The respondent no. 2 i.e., The District Magistrate, Begusarai, is directed to consider the application dated 30.03.2016 of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the present writ application stands disposed of.
