The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 30(a) and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. As per allegation in the FIR, information was received that the petitioner was involved in supply and sale of liquor. On a raid being conducted on the house of one Niraj Kumar, he was not found, however, 624.9 litres of IMFL was recovered. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no incriminating article has been recovered from the person or house of the petitioner. He has been falsely implicated in the case because of his antecedent. He is in custody since 26.12.2020 and investigation in the case has concluded.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case including the petitioner being in custody since 26.12.2020, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with C.I.S.,Special Excise Case no.56 of 2020 (arising out of Vishnupad P.S. Case no.8 of 2020) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl.
