Petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Suryagarha P.S. Case No. 209 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366(A)/34 of the I.P.C. and Sections 04/08 of the POCSO Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petitioner happens to be the maternal grand-father of the coaccused Manoj Kumar. The allegation is that on 13.10.2018 said Manoj Kumar who was pursuing his study from the house of the petitioner called the victim girl on the pretext of going to tuition,

It is further alleged that when the informant was in search of her daughter and at about 2.00 PM she went to the house of this petitioner to know the whereabout of Manoj Kumar, the petitioner and other named in the FIR said that they were not aware of the whereabout of Manoj Kumar. There are allegations that the petitioner and others abused the informant and attempted to assault her.

In the given facts and circumstances of the case where it is submitted that both the boy and the girl have fled away and the allegation against this petitioner is limited to that he did not disclose the whereabout of the boy, in case of arrest or surrender of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today, the abovenamed petitioner shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.15,000/- (rupees fifteen thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfication of the learned 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Lakhisarai in connection with Suryagarha P.S. Case No. 209 of 2018, subject to the condition that petitioner shall join the investigation by reporting to the Investigating Officer within a period of one week from today and shall cooperate in course of investigation, failing which the
