JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 08-02-2019 The learned counsel for the parties are in agreement that as far as the issue of affiliation so far as Session 2017-18 is concerned, it is the Magadh University which has to grant affiliation and as far as the Sessions thereafter are concerned, the newly constituted Pataliputra University is required to examine the case of the petitioner for grant of affiliation. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with a direction to the respective Universities to examine the case of the petitioner for affiliation

Patna High Court CWJC No.2372 of 2019(2) dt.08-02-2019 2/2 for the respective sessions and take a final decision within a period of two months from today.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the Magadh University has submitted that the Magadh University has already transferred the requisite fees to the Pataliputra University, hence the petitioner would be required to submit the requisite fees for grant of affiliation for the Session 2017-18 afresh. In light of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the University, the petitioner may deposit the requisite fees before the Magadh University upon enquiring about the same within a period of two weeks from today.
