Patna High Court CWJC No.12629 of 2017(6) dt.03-09-2019 2/3 As it appears that the cheques in question were drawn in the name of the petitioner but because of an inadvertent mistake committed by the petitioner in the title portion of the writ application the spelling of her name was not correctly read. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to correct the spelling in the name of the petitioner and thereupon the respondents Oriental Insurance Company may produce fresh cheques after carrying on the correction. Learned counsel for the Insurance Company has no objection to that extent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is therefore permitted to make necessary spelling correction in the name of the petitioner and thereafter the Oriental Insurance Company shall make available fresh cheques in the corrected name of the petitioner to learned counsel for the petitioner within one week from today. Both the cheques which were earlier handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner are being returned to
