The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Udwantnagar P.S. Case No. 131 of 2018 for the offences alleged under Sections 341, 323, 379, 498A, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. On the joint prayer of both the parties, the matter was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation Center where the petitioner and opposite party no. 2, who are husband and wife, settled their dispute and both are living together in terms of memorandum of agreement, dated 16.07.2019, which is part of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10283 of 2019(4) dt.09-08-2019 2/2 the Mediator's report, dated 17.07.2019 Since, the dispute between the parties has been settled and opposite party no. 2 is living at her matrimonial house, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of surrender/arrest, within a period of four weeks from today, in connection with Udwantnagar P.S. Case No. 131 of 2018 shall be released on pre-arrest bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara, or the successor Court subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Criminal Procedure Code.
