The petitioner seeks bail in Excise C-III-207 of 2018, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that 2419.20 liters of foreign liquor has been recovered from a truck. Petitioner was said to be driver of the aforesaid truck. Petitioner is in custody since 18.9.2018.

Keeping in view the recovery of huge quantity of foreign liquor from the truck which was driven by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6791 of 2019(2) dt.06-02-2019 2/2 Prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail stands rejected.

Petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months if no substantive progress is made in the trial. (Sanjay Priya, J) S.Ali/- U T
