JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 02-02-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Pursuant to the direction contained in order dated 21.12.2016, a counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the District Magistrate, Supaul. It is stated that concerned disciplinary action against the Panchayat Secretary has been initiated and the services of the petitioner has been found irregular and terminated vide letter dated 25.1.2017. Petitioner admits that his salary till February, 2016 has been paid.

Accordingly, this writ application stands disposed of

Patna High Court CWJC No.11920 of 2016 dt.02-02-2017 2/2 with a direction to the respondent authority to make payment of the salary for the period the work has been taken from the petitioner even after February, 2016 till his date of termination within a period of two months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.

The petitioner would also be at liberty to assail the order of termination before a competent forum.
