JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-02-2020 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Vigilance (Patna) P.S. Case No. 50 of 2019, registered for offences punishable under Section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Prosecution case is that the Junior Engineer was not preparing the M.B. Book, then, the complainant contacted the petitioner, who is Mukhiya, who demanded commission of an amount of Rs. 1,60,000/-, thereafter, a raid was conducted by the Vigilance and the petitioner was caught red handed taking the money of Rs. 1,16,000/- It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has no role to play in preparation of MB Book, as he is only

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of accusation and as the investigation is going on, at this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

This application is accordingly dismissed.
