The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Alauli P.S. Case No.273 of 2019 registered under Sections 30 and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
The informant alleged that Puran Mukhiya brought consignment of foreign liquor and concealed the same in the husk house of the petitioner. On such information, a raid was conduction and huge quantity of foreign liquor is said to have been recovered from the husk house of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the house of the petitioner is situated far away from the residential house of the petitioner. Petitioner had no knowledge about concealing liquor in his husk house, but it appears that the recovery was made from the husk house of the petitioner and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6634 of 2020(3) dt.19-06-2020 2/2 without knowledge of the petitioner, the same could not have been concealed.
Having considered the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
