2. The petitioners are aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not granting promotion to them from the Class-4 post to the Class-3 post only on the ground that they have not been appointed on compassionate ground.

3. It has been submitted that the aforesaid reason is not tenable.

4. The petitioners have made representation before the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Muzaffarpur and the Deputy Secretary-cum-Incharge Officer, Health Department, Government of Bihar, Patna but the grievances of the petitioners have not yet been addressed to.

5. Under the aforesaid circumstances, the petitioners are directed to make a fresh representation before the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Muzaffarpur within a period of four weeks from today, who on receipt of such representation shall dispose of the same within a further period of six weeks by a reasoned order.

6. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
