The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the accused persons including the petitioner are stated to have come variously armed and the petitioner is stated to have given a farsa blow on the head of Kishun Mandal, the father-in-law of the informant. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations as levelled in the FIR are false and concocted. He has been falsely implicated in the case. The injury report does not support the allegations as no sharp cut injury has been found on the body of Kishun Mandal. The

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the direct allegation of assault against the petitioner which is supported by the injury report, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
